 -  Nationals rooke Stephen Strasburg made his debut today in a spring training outing against the Detroit Tigers, and according to everyone involved he passed his first test in flying colors....Washington Post



 - Despite having Hall of Fame credentials, the Yankees managing partner Hal Steinbrenner is sticking to his guns and will not negoiate with Derek Jeter, Mariano Rivera and manager Joe Giradi during the season on any contract extensions....Very surprising!



 - Minnesota Twins closer Joe Nathan has a significant tear in his pitching elbow, it's an injury that could cost him the entire 2010 season....Big loss for the Twins if this is true.
