Yuck. Another weekend of TONS of road closures in our area. Here is a breakdown.
EB US2 - between the 20th Street SE/SR 204 interchange and SR 9 will be closed from 10pm Friday to 5am Monday, detours available.
I5 IN SEATTLE - The Mercer Street on and off ramps will be closed from 5am Saturday to 5am Monday. University Street on-ramp to NB I5 also closed at the same time.
I5 AT BOEING FIELD - 4 lanes of NB I5 will close from Boeing Access Rd and I90 (this is to work on the Active Traffic Management signs). This will start with the closing of the HOV lane at 9:30pm, the hammer lane at 10pm, 3rd lane at 10:30pm, 4th lane at 11pm. ONLY ONE NB LANE WILL BE OPEN OVERNIGHT. ALL lanes will re-open by 6am Sunday.
SR99 IN SEATTLE - The intersection at Aurora Ave N and N 85th Street will close from 10pm Friday to 6am Monday.
I405 IN KIRKLAND - NB 405 off-ramp to NE 116th Street will close from 9pm Friday to 5am Monday.
***SR520 FLOATING BRIDGE - ALL LANES of SR520 from Montlake to 405 WILL BE CLOSED from 11pm Friday to 5am Monday.
Make sure that you plan ahead, and if you’re headed towards any of these spots, give yourself some extra time this weekend. And most importantly, drive safely!
