In addition to the Co-MVP honor with Winquist, Oslanski was also presented the FIERCE Predator award from the Everett Silvertips Hockey Booster Club and the Iron Man Award for playing in all 72 games this season.  Winquist shared the MVP award just two years after being named Everett’s Most Improved Player for the 2010-11 season.

In addition to Mueller’s Rookie of the Year recognition, other Silvertips rookies were also honored as Tyler Sandhu received the Coaches Award just after posting his first career hat trick and Ben Betker was named this year’s Most Improved Player.  Veteran forward Reid Petryk was named this year’s Unsung Hero, while Austin Lotz won the Community Relations Award.  Dawson Leedahl and Micheal Zipp were named Co-Scholastic Players of the Year for their achievements in the classroom.

Ten-year season ticket holders Larry & Sue Hawk, who helped name the team upon its inception in 2003, were only the third recipients of the Jim Leo Distinguished Service Award recognizing contributions to the organization “above and beyond the call”.  Larry & Sue have been active in supporting the Silvertips in a variety of different ways over the years, eagerly assisting in any way possible in that time.
