RENTON - DE Red Bryant and LB Leroy Hill missed practice again for the Seattle Seahawks on Thursday, further bringing their availability for Sunday's game agaisnt the Chicago Bears into question.

Bryant is dealing with a plantar fascia injury to his foot that has been affecting his play the last several weeks. Head coach Pete Carroll said he wasn't sure if Bryant would available for Sunday. His continued absence from practice seems to make that more of a possibility.

Hill was injured against the Miami Dolphins on Sunday and briefly left the game before returning and finishing the game. He was replaced by LB Malcolm Smith in his absence. Hill's ankle injury seems to be less concerning than that of Bryant. Plantar fasciitis can be a difficult injury to manage because there is no way to treat it other than rest to see how it responds.

The injury news was not kind to the Bears on Thursday. Chicago has officially ruled out WR Devin Hester with a concussion and former Seahawks G Chris Spencer with a knee injury.

WR Alshon Jeffery had to undergo arthroscopic knee surgery after injuring his knee against the San Francisco 49ers two weeks ago. He was expected to miss 2-4 weeks and has yet to be able to practice this week.

RB Matt Forte
told reporters in Chicago that expects to be able to play this Sunday and was limited in practice Thursday.
