RENTON - Pete Carroll said in his press conference Wednesday that a few players would not be on the field for practice.

C Max Unger is probably the most notable of the group as he sat out Wednesday's workout with a hip injury. Carroll said that Unger will be day-to-day but that they believe he'll be able to play on Sunday.

G John Moffitt (knee) and DT Jaye Howard (foot) are still sitting out practice after missing last week's game with their respeective injuries. Carroll didn't specify the severity of either injury, but Moffitt is listed as out and will not play this week against the New England Patriots.

DT Clinton McDonald was also injured in the win over Carolina on Sunday. He suffered a groin injury and did not practice Wednesday. Carroll also did not state his availability for this week.

In true Bill Belichick fashion, the Patriots injury report was much more expansive. Last week against the Denver Broncos, the Patriots had 15 players on the injury report with 12 being listed Friday as questionable. This week 18 players appeared on the injury report with 13 being limited during Wednesday's practice.
