As the Seahawks have been known to do over the last few season with Pete Carroll and John Schneider manning the front office, the team made a handful of roster moves following Sunday's win over the Dallas Cowboys.
The team has added CB Danny Gorrer to the active roster and released RB Kregg Lumpkin.
Gorrer was most recently with the Baltimore Ravens, appearing in 11 games last season. He was released by Baltimore on Sept. 3.
Lumpkin was insurance at the running back position with RB Marshawn Lynch dealing with back spasms leading into the first two games. With Lynch healthy and CB Byron Maxwell suffering a hamstring strain Sunday, the Seahawks seem to have felt the need to bring in another option.
In addition, the team re-signed G Rishaw Johnson and LB Korey Toomer to the practice squad and released WR Ricardo Lockette and LB Allen Bradford from the squad.
