CENTURYLINK FIELD - The Seattle Seahawks will have to handle the Dallas Cowboys Pro Bowl pass rusher LB DeMarcus Ware without the services of LT Russell Okung.
Okung is active for today's game with a knee bruise suffered in the fourth quarter of last week's loss to the Arizona Cardinals. Okung was a full participant in practice on Friday but remained listed as questionable.
Head coach Pete Carroll said they still needed to see how he made it through their final walkthrough on Saturday as well as pregame warmups before deciding if he would be able to go or not.
In his place, the Seahawks will start T Frank Omiyale at left tackle. Omiyale is new to the Seahawks this year after spending the last three seasons with the Chicago Bears. Omiyale started 31 games for the Bears in those three seasons.
It will be interesting to see how much Seattle uses TE Zach Miller and their running backs to help chip Ware to keep him from being a factor coming off the edge. If Miller is required to stay in frequently to help protect, it will be one less weapon the Seahawks will be able to utilize in the passing game.
