IT Manager
Details:
Clear Channel Media + Entertainment in Seattle has an immediate opening for an IT Manager to oversee and maintain the IT operations of our communications infrastructure. This position will be responsible for the effective planning, installation, configuration, operation and maintenance of systems hardware and software within our Radio broadcast facilities. The IT Manager will maintain Windows and Mac PC’s using Active Directory, Exchange, Outlook and other server-based systems, oversee back-up systems and will perform troubleshooting for our hardware, software and network systems. This position reports to the Seattle Market Director of Engineering.
Requirements:
Excellent communications skills, experience in planning, budgeting,maintaining and troubleshooting a wide variety of network based system sis critical. Experience with Radio broadcast station automation (RCSNexGen), G-Selector, various Sales and Traffic business software programs and broadcast audio editing software is desirable. This position requires a fundamental knowledge of TCP/IP, Webcasting and VoIP networking technologies. In addition to good organizational skills, the IT Manager must be able to work independently and as part of our Engineering team. As is typical with critical business IT systems in Radiobroadcast facilities, the applicant must be willing to be on call. Bachelor’s Degree with a technical major such as Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent experience is preferred. Experience in a radio broadcasting facility is a strong plus.
