#15 Jermaine Kearse
2012 Stats: 3 receptions, 31 yards, 10.3 avg
Kearse came into camp in 2013 as a player on the bubble just looking to make a roster. Since the beginning of practices at the VMAC, Kearse has earned rave reviews from coaches, teammates, and members of the media. In the Seahawks 2nd preseason game against the Denver Broncos, Kearse caught a 12 yard TD pass from QB Russell Wilson, and also took back a kickoff 107 yards for another score. This was the first time that Kearse was used as a Kick Returner, something that he didn't even do in college at the University of Washington. With the absence of Percy Harvin, Kearse looks primed to take the next step in his NFL career with the Seahawks in 2013.
#81 Golden Tate
2012 Stats: 45 receptions, 688 Yards, 15.3 avg, 7 TD
The main beneficiary of Percy Harvin's hip injury will be WR Golden Tate. Tate came on strong in 2012 after a dissapointing start to his NFL career, and looks to build on that success in 2013. With Harvin out, Tate is the Seahawks unquestioned #2 receiver behind Sidney Rice, and he will have plenty of opportunites to showcase the athletic ability that led to him being picked in the 2nd RD out of Notre Dame. 1000 yds and 8-10 TD's is not out of the question for Golden Tate in 2013.
