Los Angeles, CA (Sports Network) - Terrence Ross scored 18 points on 8-of-13 from the floor as the Washington Huskies cruised to an easy 80-58 win over the USC Trojans in a Pac-12 Conference tilt at the Galen Center.

Darnell Gant tallied 14 points and nine rebounds for Washington (21-8, 14-3 Pac-12), which has won five in a row and 10 of its last 11. Abdul Gaddy added 12 points and five assists for the Huskies.

For USC (6-24, 1-16), Ben Wesley scored a game-high 23 points, while Garrett Jackson chipped in with 14 points and James Blasczyk netted 10 points. The Trojans extended their losing streak to eight games and they have dropped 17 of their last 18.

Washington shot 43.2 percent from the floor in the first half and USC wasn't far off at 42.3 percent, but the Cougars took a comfortable 40-26 lead into halftime by attempting 11 more field goals than the Trojans in the stanza.

USC never got closer than nine points of the lead in the second half.

Washington held a dominating advantage on the glass, outrebounding the Trojans 49-23.
