Jason Washburn added 18 points and Jordan Loveridge 17 for the Utes (9-9, 1-5 Pac-12), who broke a five-game skid. Utah shot 60.4 percent from the field to shock the Huskies.


Andrew Andrews had 17 points, C.J. Wilcox 14 and Scott Suggs 12 for the Huskies (12-6, 4-1), who had won four in a row. Aziz N'Diaye had 11 rebounds.


Utah bolted to a 12-2 lead, as the early run was capped by a Washburn jumper. The Utes held a 33-25 edge at the half thanks to making 14-of-24 from the field. Conversely, the Huskies went 11-of-31 in the opening 20 minutes.


Utah led by double digits for the majority of the second half, although the Huskies got within 60-54 with 3:13 left following a pair of free throws from Wilcox.


Loveridge countered by making a jumper, and Utah wasn't challenged in the final two minutes.


The Huskies fell in conference action for the first time this season despite holding a 36-29 rebounding advantage.
