Portland St. How many Husky fans were happy to see the Vikings on the schedule after Washington got thrashed by LSU 41-3 last week? UW needs to not only win this game, but to look good doing it. Steve Sarkisian's offense hasn't scored a TD in 7 quarters. SEVEN. Thats something you dont see from a Keith Price led offense. UW may not be able to prove much to the fans and media by beating up on PSU, but they certainly may be able to gain some confidence. Running the ball has been a huge concern for Washington, so look for RB Bishop Sankey to get a ton of carries to not only pad the stat sheet, but to get the sophomore some mch needed confidence after a tough week in Baton Rouge. Whatever happens today, UW will need to prove themselves down the road against stiffer competition, like Stanford in two weeks. The Vikings are coached by former UW Safety Nigel Burton, with another former Husky, LB Lester Towns on staff as well as Ikaika Malloe, a former UW DB.
