Jason Reid, the Director of Sonicgate comes onto the Elise and Jerry Show to give Elise his opinion on the meetings last night. It has been a tough week for all of
Reid is still very optimistic on having a team in
"Yesterday was definitely a tough day you know, but new day started and reevaluating everything... On the positive side I think the 22-8-0 vote is an indication it was far from a rubber stamp," Reid told Elise.
He makes a good point, this vote means there are owners out there that want a team in
"The reason why feel so bad is because we've had so much pain along the way with this story. It's not as big of a blow as losing our team in 2008 and having no hope, no new owner, no arena plan approved and a five year deal," said Reid.
Elise mentioned the way David Stern helped out
"Really what Stern should be doing as commissioner is backing up what his owners want to do, the same way he backed up Bennett. He just didn’t, it wasn't treated well."
Through out the whole interview, Jason Reid spoke highly about Chris Hansen and his efforts. He said there is a lot going on right now, but we just have to trust Hansen and his team.
