Dick is a 1992 graduate of Mount Rainier High School where he played basketball and swam on the state championship team. He then went to UW and was a member of the Husky Marching band. He received his Masters Degree in Sports Administration from Seattle University in 2011. Dick began his career in broadcasting at KJR in 1997 and worked his way up to show host and sports director. Dick currently is the host of the “Live@5:30” show Monday thru Friday and is Mitch Levy’s co-host on the Mitch in the Morning show from 6a-10a. Dick is also entering his fifth year as the voice of the WNBA Seattle Storm. He and his wife Janna live in Normandy Park and have a two year old son Dixon and a daughter due in May 2012. Dick has a passion for high school sports and is a boys basketball coach at Mount Rainier High School in Des Moines.
