agrees as follows:
1. Description of Contest/Participation.
Starting Friday, September 4th and every Friday
for the contest period, Mitch in the Morning
will open up the TEXT'ing window, for two (2)
30 minute periods between the hours of 6-10am.
Friday, September 4th ONLY, will the 'window'
be open for the full four (4) hours of the morning
show (6am-10am). Before the 10am deadline, you
will TEXT the appropriate College Team Name
that represents the TEAM that you think will
win for that week. Guess correctly, you advance
to the next week. Guess incorrectly and you
are out of the contest. YOU CAN ONLY PICK A
TEAM ONCE OUT OF THE LIST OF 34 FOR THE DURATION
OF THE CONTEST.
A. Dates of Contest: The Contest
will begin and end on or about September 4,
2009 - November 28, 2009. Thirteen Saturday's
of games.
B. How to Enter: From a text enabled
cell phone, Text one of the 34 College Football
Team Names listed on 950kjr.com to 49451 only
once during either of the two (2) specified
random ½ hour time windows during the
Mitch in the Morning Show (6am-10am) every Friday
between September 4, 2009 and November 28, 2009.
Dates and times may vary due to the Holiday
schedules. Both ½ hour windows will change
every Friday, without notice and will be determined
by the Morning Show.
YOU MUST USE THE SAME CELL PHONE
FOR THE ENTIRE DURATION OF THIS CONTEST.
C. How to Play: From a text enabled
cell phone, Text one of the 34 College Football
Team Names listed on 950kjr.com to 49451 only
once during either of the two (2) specified
½ hour time windows during the Mitch
in the Morning Show (6am-10am) every Friday
between September 4, 2009 and November 28, 2009.
Dates and times may vary due to the Holiday
schedules. Both ½ hour windows will change
every Friday and with out notice. You can only
pick a team once. IF you pick a team more than
once it will count as a loss and you will be
out of the contest. If the team you selected
plays and loses that week than you are out of
the contest. The only way to continue on in
the contest is to pick the team that wins and
to only use one college team once. If there
is bye weekend and you texted in a team that
DID NOT play during the bye weekend than you
are out as well. If you miss either of the two
½ hour windows to text in a team, than
you are out of the contest and cannot rejoin.
If you select a team and for some reason that
team does not play due to a natural disaster
or some sort of other reason than you have until
the Saturday following the Friday deadline to
text a NEW College Team Name no later than 9am
Pacific Time. It is your responsibility to text
in a new team name. College Team Mascots will
not be accepted. IF you text in a college team
mascot it counts as a loss and you are out of
the contest. If by week 12 (for example) there
are 12 people remaining and all pick a team
and that team loses than all move on to the
next week. Only Saturday College Football games
will be the ones to select from.
ON Friday, Sept. 4th from 6 - 10am you must
text in a College Team Name in order to participate
in the contest - however Sept. 4th is the ONLY
Friday that the texting window will be open
from 6-10am. For the remaining Friday's it is
the participants responsibility to tune in to
the Mitch and the Morning Show from 6 - 10am
and listen for the two random ½ hour
windows that Mitch designates at his own discretion.
The time may not be pre prompted and may or
may not change every week. In order for your
text message to be accepted you must text the
college team name as all one word.
Pick teams judiciously and plan out over the
13 weeks of our contest because if you run out
of teams in the later weeks, you lose and are
out of the contest. It is your responsibility
to look ahead and plan out the 13 weeks of the
contest because you can only use a team once.
There will be only ONE winner at the conclusion
