Gametime! Time To Send A Message
In just one half hour we will have a chance to be part of the Sonics return by signing up for next seasons Ticket Wait List HERE. This site will register your interest in numerical order for anything from single tickets to suites and luxury boxes. No payment will be required at this time so please make sure that your interest is registered. If you are not available to sign up make sure somebody does so on your behalf.
Until recently I had to deal with the real possibility that my kids would grow up without the Sonics existing during the formative period of their lives. Our basketball heritage would have skipped a generation and it would never be the same for any of us.
Instead, and only because of the herculean effort of Chris and other owners, we get a chance to dream of taking our families and friends to games again.
Chris has already given us some special memories and there are more to come. I hope that every game next year brings the excitement and unbridled sense of hope we had watching Macklemore and the Blue Scholars on stage for the Sonics Rally. I know that every minute as a Sonics fan I am going to feel appreciated and included just like I did when Chris decided to buy the city a beer and spent hours patiently getting to know hundred of Sonics fans.

Chris Hansen Statement:
We are happy to announce that we have entered into a binding agreement with the Maloofs to purchase a controlling interest in the Sacramento Kings NBA franchise. The sale is obviously subject to approval by the NBA Board of Governors, and we look forward to working with the League in the coming months to consummate the transaction.
While we are not at liberty to discuss the terms of the transaction or our plans for the franchise given the confidential nature of the agreement and NBA regulations regarding public comments during a pending transaction, we would just like to extend our sincerest compliments and gratitude toward the Maloof family. Our negotiations with the family were handled with the utmost honor and professionalism and we hope to continue their legacy and be great stewards of this NBA franchise in the coming years and decades.
