Pacers GM Kevin Pritchard refuted an ESPN report that head coach Frank Vogel was “coaching for his job.” Pritchard tweeted, “Larry Bird just told me sources say Frank Vogel’s job is safe.”

 

Diamondbacks 1st baseman Mark Trumbo was placed on the 15 day disabled list because of a stress fracture in his foot.

 

The Indians scored all 5 of their runs in the 5th inning to top the Royals, 5-1.

 

Seahawks senior personnel executive Scot McCloughan resigned after 4 seasons to tend to a personal matter.

 

The Hockey News: Red Wings captain Henrik Zetterberg will play “limited minutes” in tonight’s Game 4 against Boston.  Zetterberg has been out since February following back surgery.
